Featuring a herringbone subway tile backsplash and light quartz countertops, this once traditional kitchen has been transformed into a transitional design that reflects the style of the homeowner. The dark glaze accentuates the simple yet elegant details of the modified-shaker door style on these sleek white cabinets. Beyond the aesthetic appeal of the cabinetry, our experienced design team can be credited with the delivery of maximum functionality in the space through layout adjustments and the inclusion of semi-custom internal cabinet components.

Before, this kitchen felt dark and disjointed. The two-tiered island disrupted the flow in this open floor plan condo, and the undersized dark cabinets made this kitchen feel small. Leveling the island top and replacing the former cabinetry with clean, white, cabinets that feature a slab door-style and extend to over nine feet in overall height created a look that’s simple, inviting, and abundant in additional storage. Featured with light quartz countertops and a contrasting black marble backsplash, this kitchen is a revolutionary gem of the South.

This outdated kitchen received a major update with white cabinetry featuring a modified shaker door style. Removing the soffit allowed for the installation of cabinetry that ascends to the ceilings. The dated florescent ceiling lighting was replaced by energy efficient, LED recessed lighting. The herringbone backsplash is a low-maintenance porcelain tile that mimics the look of travertine and pairs beautifully with the light quartz countertops.

In this kitchen, we kept it simple and opted for a face lift by replacing the original countertop and installing a backsplash. We used the existing cabinets, but added this beautiful quartz countertop and marble herringbone backsplash. This look is chic and neutral - perfect for adding a pop of color.

This East Memphis kitchen was in dire need of an update. We replaced the original 50+ year old cabinets and raised them to the ceiling after removing the soffits. We removed the awkward built in shelf that made this kitchen feel closed off, and replaced the linoleum floors with glazed porcelain tile. The dark granite countertops and subway style backsplash provide a timeless look

Sometimes a few changes can go a long way. In this Bartlett kitchen, we swapped out the laminate countertops for quartz countertops, kept the original cabinets and installed a brand new porcelain tile backsplash to further finish this kitchen. The end result is a warm and inviting traditional kitchen ready for family, fun and good food.
Budget: $15,000
In this kitchen, we used two toned cabinets to make this small galley kitchen feel bigger. The darker base cabinets in combination with the white upper cabinets help make the space feel like it is bigger than it really is. We topped off the base cabinets with granite countertops, and finished off with a subway tile backsplash.

It is always exciting and fun to work with customers who are willing to open up some walls and to move things around. Our plan was to open the kitchen to the family room, add more storage in the breakfast area, and add a double oven. After a new beam, demolished wall, and moved piping, we installed country-style cabinetry by Legacy Debut Series, granite countertops, a travertine floor, and stainless steel appliances. Thus the enclosed kitchen was transformed to an open and welcoming space for Food and Friends.

We replaced the existing white cabinets with light stained oak cabinets from the Wellborn Select Series, installed solid surface countertops, and put in a Lazy Susan cabinet to make the corners functional.

Here is a good example of simple and inexpensive ways to update your kitchen and add a lot of brightness. Removing the soffits allowed taller 42" high wall cabinets to fit. Light-stained shaker door cabinetry from Wellborn's Home Concept Series, beautiful granite countertops, and a classic travertine mosaic backsplash lights the kitchen up!
Budget: $15,000.
This client spends a lot of time in the kitchen. By moving the refrigerator, relocating the cooktop to the peninsula with a pop-up downdrafting ventilation system, we were able to install a built-in double oven and a custom-made dishwasher cabinet (Wellborn Premier Series). The result is a more spacious kitchen reduced strain since the dishwasher and the over were raised to easy-to-reach level.
Budget: $55,000.
This beautiful kitchen used to be a tiny and hideous one that no one would like. We opened up the wall to the living room, tore down
the soffits, and then put in new porcelain flooring, all-plywood
traditional style cabinets, and classic NVG granite countertop. The big
kitchen island with extended bar is great for entertaining and could
also serve as breakfast table. This kitchen not only is up-to-date, but
it also feels so much brighter and more functional!
